Lauren 6 months old
Can't believe it has already been 6 months...wow, it has gone fast! Let's see, Lauren has finally gotten her two bottom teeth, after drooling for the last 2 months. She still takes cat naps and will nap anywhere at any time. We are finally seeing at least one big nap in the late morning or early afternoon where she will sleep close to 2 hours. She loves her fruit and veggies...great eater!! She is also sitting up, a lot earlier than Katie and Ali ever did, of course she has quite the large base to be able to do so (thighs)!!! She still needs a little support but overall she does great sitting up and playing.

Lake Michigan Parks and Beaches
We are so lucky to live on in West Michigan. The downside is not being by any family at all but the upside is the beautiful parks and beaches. We always go to Pere Marquette to spend the day at the beach but this time we spent a day going to Kruse Park and Hoffmaster State Park with the girls. At Kruse Park during the day we brought a picnic, let the girls play on the playground and then took a walk to some of the lookouts and then down to the beach. Later that night we went to Hoffmaster State Park and walked the beach as the sun was setting. Hoffmaster was beautiful and the water was so calm and warm. I think we have found our new beach spot!!

Grand Haven Jellystone Park
We went camping during the week for a few days with our friends the Coopers and the Shaffers at Grand Haven Jellystone. So much fun and we had beautiful weather! The kids had fun swimming all day, playing on the playground, having smores and riding the Yogi train.

Grandma's 90th Birthday
We had a fantastic weekend in Troy for my grandma's 90th birthday! I got to see my cousin Amber and her kids, which we haven't seen each other in probably at least 4 years. My cousin Jake couldn't make it because he had just gotten a job in Iowa and couldn't make it back to celebrate. I'm so glad we took all of these photos, they turned out great!!
