Ali has graduated from Kindergarten and is on her way to 1st grade next school year=) Also, she is done with daycare!! Wow, seriously....where has the time gone! I remember taking her to 3 year pre-school and crying because I couldn't believe she was starting school already and now she is ready for a full day of school as a FIRST GRADER! Ali LOVES school! She will play school when she gets home from school every single day. She is Mrs. Fricke (her Kindergarten teacher in the last picture) and Katie is her student. She always wants to learn which is so fun to see and makes mom and dad proud=) She is so excited for next year and it has been such a joy watching her grow up.

End of Spring Activities/Sports
Ali finished her first season of U8 girls spring soccer and loved it! She learned so much this season and that is all thanks to her coach=) He is the boys varsity head coach at our high school and the knowledge and skill set he has is tremendous. Plus, he really interacted well with the girls so they had so much fun. Ali will do a soccer camp this summer that her coach leads and she is really looking forward to that.
Katie did a princess ballet camp at the Grand Haven YMCA and also loved it! That is definitely her "thing." We will sign her up in the fall for a year long dance class which she is really looking forward too=)

Relay for Life
Relay for Life was this past weekend at Reeths Puffer High School. Relay for Life is a 24 hour event to raise money for the American Cancer Society to help find a cure for cancer. Mike and I became involved in Relay because a dear friend of ours, Michelle Wahlberg, is a cancer survivor. We relay for her and other friends and family that have battled cancer! She was the Chairperson for the event and another friend of ours, Shannan Conrad, was the Co-Chair this year. Mike and I have walked for Team Mona Shores the last few years but this year we wanted to become more involved and were on the Committee. The goal was to raise $90,000 this year for ACS and $120,000 was actually raised, way surpassing our goal!! What an amazing event and the pictures here can't even describe the emotion of actually being there.
