We went bowling at Starlight Lanes and went for pizza at Clover Bar in Grand Haven with the Wahlberg and Conrad family this last Saturday and had lots of fun! It's fun to watch Ali, Emma and Brayton together. They no longer go to school together but you would never be able to tell that they don't see each other as much because they still act like they are best of friends=)
We went to see Disney Princess on Ice at Van Andel Arena this last weekend with Kristen and her girls. It was really cute and Katie was in heaven...truly a perfect fit for her=)
The last month of winter, still trying to stay busy until Spring hits here soon!! The first picture of the girls is before going to one of daddy's basketball games. They each had on Mona Shores Sailors gear to cheer on the 8th grade girls! The second two pictures are from the circus. We went with Ali and Katie and Macy's family. Lots of fun and lots of junk food! It cost us more to buy snacks than it did for admission! The last picture of Lauren was from when she came home one day from daycare with a pony on the top of her head=) It was just way too cute that I had to take a picture plus she loves that chair and spends a lot of time in it when playing in the living room.
How else to get rid of the winter blues but then to try to enjoy as many indoor activities as we can!! The last couple of weekends, Kristen and I have taken the girls to the Justin Bieber movie and then Jumpin' Jupiter to go roller skating. The movie was actually pretty good and I can understand why all the little girls think Justin Bieber is cute!! Roller skating was a blast, totally reminded Kristen and I of when we were younger. It was just like Skate World in the 80's.....same music, same hokey pokey, same chicken dance, same style skates believe it or not and tons of fun!! Maya and Ali got the hang of it pretty quickly and before we left, they were skating like pro's=)
Muskegon got approximately 15 inches of snow, on top of the foot of snow we already had, a few days before Lauren's first birthday party. When Aunt Missy, Uncle Allen and Chase were here for the birthday party, they spent some time outside with Ali and Katie in our "blizzard 2011" snow. Seriously, the kids could get lost out there....there was soooo much snow!!
